Pattern Description

Overview: Choose from three unique Christmas stocking patterns that add elegance and fun to your holiday decor:

• Large Fireplace Stocking (Pattern 1): Perfect for classic Christmas displays by the fireplace.
• Large Elf Stocking (Pattern 2): A whimsical, festive design with a playful shape.
• Small Christmas Tree Hanging Stocking (Pattern 3): Great for adding a mini stocking to your Christmas tree or as a small gift bag.

Each pattern is easy to follow, making them ideal for both beginners and experienced crafters. With these beautiful stocking designs, you can make every corner of your home feel magical this Christmas!

Materials Needed:

Large Fireplace stocking (pattern 1)

• 1/2 meter of velvet for outer stocking
• 1 meter of luxury fabric, such as jacquard or heavy cotton for the cuff, lining, toe, heel and applique.

Large Elf stocking (pattern 2)

• 1/2 meter of velvet for the legs
• 1/2 meter of jacquard or brocade for the feet
• 1 meter of cotton lining
• 1/2 meter of faux fur for the cuff
• 1 faux fur pom-pom
• 1 small bell

Small Christmas Tree hanging stocking (pattern 3)

• 1/2 meter of velvet fabric
• 1/2 meter of cotton lining
• 1/2 meter of faux fur

This should make 2-3 small Christmas Tree stockings

Other materials:

• Appropriate stabilisers for embroidery
• Bondaweb
• Machine embroidery threads
• Interfacing of your choice (optional)
• Any embellishments, for example, sequins or buttons
• Machine sewing threads (I use Aurifil 40wt and 50wt)

• Sewing machine 
• Material cutting scissors
• Clips and pins
• Heat erasable pen
• Permanant marker pen
• Quilting ruler
• Rotary cutter
• Cutting mat
• Tape measure
• Iron
• Pinking shears
• Small sharp scissors
• Walking foot (optional)
• Button hole foot (if available)
• Light box
• Milward fusing mat (for applique pattern)

As with all our patterns they are very easy to customise. These patterns are no different. These would look lovely made completely with faux fur, giving a very luxurious feel. All the stockings look fab with customised embroidery on them.
