Family Comforts will be returning to Sewing Street with a brand-new release.
This visit introduces a new Tote Bag design, thoughtfully created, beautifully constructed, and rooted in everything the brand stands for: practical sewing, heritage styling, and projects you will genuinely use every day.
In the second show, Sandi will also be demonstrating two new designs by Helen Newton.
Together the shows form a full sewing session — learning, ideas, and practical makes you can take straight to your sewing table.

Patchwork Promenade Quilt
Watch Sandi present and demonstrate her new design. The Patchwork Promenade was inspired by sunny seaside strolls and the joyful charm of beach hut holidays. With its playful geometric layout and crisp, colourful blocks, this quilt captures the rhythm of walking the promenade, all soft pastels, peppermint greens, and raspberry-swirled ice cream shades. The bold shapes and striking diagonals add a fresh, modern twist, while the repeating blocks give it a comforting sense of structure. Juey Pouffe and Handy Guide No.5
On this show, we teamed up with the brilliant Juey Jumbo for a fun and functional pouffe project, combining her jumbo knitting techniques with a practical lining demo. We also launched Handy Guide No. 5 – A Handy Guide to Zips and Fasteners, alongside a curated collection of zips and fasteners. Plus, there were creative highlights from Use & Ornament by Nicholas Ball, showcasing the beauty of improv quilting.
